Grief and Bereavement 101: Developing our understanding and compassion presented by Kathy Kortes-Miller, MSW, PhD

Eat your lunch and listen to engaging presentations made by local and regional palliative care champions on a variety of topics

Learning Objectives:

  • To examine the foundational principles of grief, mourning and bereavement
  • To explore some of the myths surrounding grief
  • To review some of the different types of grieving
  • To explore attitudes and values surrounding grief and bereavement
  • To encourage companioning as a way to support grief

Three Ways to Participate:
