Our opening keynote speaker is Dr. Hsien Seow, of McMaster University, with his research on how to build regional hospice palliative care systems. The conference will also focus largely on palliative care program development for First Nation communities and will highlight the work of Dr. Mary Lou Kelley and the Improving End of Life Care in First Nation Communities research project. The closing keynote session will focus on the Ontario Medical Association's End of Life Care Strategy, provided by former OMA President, Dr. Scott Wooder. Complementary therapy and exercise sessions are available. |
