Post-Basic Nursing Practice Certificate Program: Hospice Palliative Care/Gerontological Nursing (for RNs) entails print materials that are mailed to the student’s home, and online discussions and activities to enhance learning. Courses may be taken independently in order to meet continuing education hours for nursing registration, preparation for the national hospice palliative care CNA certification exam, or the entire program can be taken to develop expertise in the specialty.
-Compassionate Care for the Terminally Ill series of 4 non-credit courses is intended to enhance knowledge in palliative care for LPNs, care aides, volunteers, pastoral care, etc.
