This HFA videoconference is brought to you by the Palliative Caregivers Sudbury/Manitoulin. It will focus on how diversity influences end-of-life decision making and the impact that culture has at the time of death and during bereavement. It will help you to understand how your cultural values and assumptions influence delivery of care. The program and accompanying book (available for purchase) written by various grief experts will examine the newest theories and practices and will combine academic research with hands-on ideas for use with dying and grieving people. For more information or to register, call Mary or Christine at Warmhearts Palliative Caregivers (705-677-0077). Registration deadline is April 20, 2009. |
