The Coping Centre (Caring for Other People in Grief) offers a peaceful place for support, understanding, compassion and encouragement in the uniqueness of one’s grief journey.
The Coping Centre is a beautiful, century old estate nestled in 6 acres of beautiful gardens and mature trees, overlooking the Grand River. Coping is a non-profit, charitable organization with no charge for group participants. On-going follow-up programs after the initial Coping group sessions
Coping offers support programs, retreats and educational seminars by professionals and volunteers who have all experienced grief in their own lives. Also offered is a summer
The Coping Centre offers closed Group Support Programs for the whole family that run for  8-10 WEEKS in the Spring and Fall.
Adults: providing support and education for adults who have lost a loved one.
Young Adults: provides a place to share their grief experiences and find support
Teens: provides a safe place for young people to find support after the death of a loved one.
Children (5-12): This is a program developed to help children with their loss and work through their feelings
Support Programs for Those Who Have Lost a Loved One By Suicide: A specially designed program to support those who have lost a loved one by suicide.
