Hi Tian and everyone:
I was thinking about all those here whom have mentioned writing books. Our talent pool is immense, but more importantly is the breadth and depth of our combined experience! I recall CarolynMarie actually mentioning she is writing a book and she mentioned it first, so we are all bumped down the publishing list a bit!:-) There may also be others before my time here on the Virtual Hospice forum with the same inclination of whom I am not aware!:-)
Wouldn't it be a lovely idea for us all to collaborate on a special Virtual Hospice book, keeping in mind those who are facing their own mortality, (which essentially we all are though we don't often enough seem to acknowledge and accept that fact), and those of us grieving the loss of loved ones, and those of us whom are caring for loved ones?
Throughout my short time of being involved in this VH forum, I have discovered so much about life and people, and indeed myself, by reading the amazing posts written by so many wonderful people in our close-knit community. I love the exposure to different perspectives, the changing moods and motivations of those who bravely share their innermost evolutionary thoughts and feelings here. I think a book of our stories, ideas, and support, would be well received by the public. Perhaps the proceeds could be directed towards the Virtual Hospice organization or a specific project to help somehow those living in a hospice setting.
I'm just thinking out loud. Maybe I'm just a dreamer, and maybe this is an impossible dream, but I feel so grateful for the kindness and care I receive here and I would love to find a way for us to join forces to help others as we are being helped. It's a pay it forward idea.
I would love to hear feedback on this idea from others.
Have a beautiful evening, beautiful friends! :-)
