Hello Everyone :)

Today, October 2, 2012 marks a year and a half since I lost my beautiful sister. I just wanted to share with others, who may be losing a loved one...time does heal. I've managed through the stages of grief and although the occasional tear sheds in thought of you, I am able to move ahead and focus on the funny humour you were well known for. From you, I have learned that I can deal with anything that is handed to me and in spirit you are there beside me. For that my sweet angel, I thank you! Love you always and forever <3 You have taught me to cherish life and everything it brings us!

Hi highlanddancermom40:

It's lovely to hear from you and I am so happy to hear that you are getting on so well - great news!

Your loving words for your late sister are a beautiful tribute to her and to the special bond you shared with her. You give us all hope! Thank you for sharing with us all today's meaningful milestone in your own personal experience with loss and healing.

With affection -xo- hugs

Welcome back Highlanddancermom40.
Thank you for writing to Tanya. Have you seen Leigh70's thread. My brother is terminal  She just joined the community a few days ago to talk about losing her brother.

I know you can relate to losing a sibling. I hesitate to send her to this thread because I'm not sure one can fully understand or even hear that things get better when you are preparing for the end. What do you think?
