My backyard buddies,

Hubby's looking pretty good! Living in the present moment. He built me a BLT, with eggs, for brunch!

Beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. I am looking out on snow at the moment. I like your views better.

Thank you!
We had a bit of snow, while I put up Pagan Lights outside. Then it turned to 5mm rain, yesterday. We're pretty far south in SE Ontario.

We are off tomorrow, Dec. 29th. Another big trip to the city for another CT Scan. It's a good thing we are retired. I don't know how people do it otherwise.

We had a grand time with grandkids this year. For the first time in 10 years they were here on Christmas Day and Dec. 26th my birthday!
Grandpa, never having known his late father, and an only child, and no children of his own, is a marvellous grandfather.   We enjoy each moment.

He is continuing on with immunity boosters, in anticipation of further treatments.

Well, that was a good day on some fronts.
We were back at the urologist  and hubby's PSA count was about the same as last visit. CT Scan  showed some swelling.
The immunity boosters seem to be working well. Back in 3 mos. for another PSA.
He seems to have lymph nodes that are swollen, which isn''t good, so it's a colonoscopy, too.

Jenn what beautiful pictures and video - the power of the visual eh? And children - such good medicine. My mother had a picture with two children sitting in a garden and the caption "Children are such a wonderful way to start people". After her death I was able to reframe it and hang it in our home - lovely reminders of her and of the truth of the words.
Thanks for sharing the beauty along with the reality of tests/waiting/hoping.

Trip #34 into Ottawa Hospital for test results. What a long drive it is!

It sure pays to take notes. The info hadn't come in from the colonoscopy doctor. We knew there were polyps removed and sent for biopsy, but not the result. The PSA is rising, as well.

We are being scheduled for an MRI and another biopsy. What a long journey this has been.
They don't know if the swelling is from surgery or cancer.
It could be radiation is next.

A picture is worth a thousand words. The examination table tells a story. I can't imagine there are many people more prepared and informed than you JennJilks.

Our doctor's office phoned late Friday. The polyps tested from the colonoscopy were negative. He doesn't have colon cancer. The lumps are still a mystery, to be explored this month. I play with the iPad when I get bored at these visits, or do cross stitch!
