Browsing Canadian content, stumbled upon this website. From Edmonton Area. Wife diagnosed  last May with Kidney Cancer. She had surgery in July. The Kidney specialist found 7cm Tumour on her left kidney. The surgery removed left kidney, spleen, and 40% of her pancreas As well lymph nodes. Went back to hospital three weeks later, found liter of fluid above her diaphragm beside her lungs. The doctors drained the fluid through her back with vacuum system. Now in December went for 3 month CT scan on her body. Found a couple lung Tumours < 1cm. Cancer has spread to her lungs. Doctor said likely she will pass away from the cancer. Heading tomorrow to visit Oncologist in Edmonton. She is 46, healthy, runs 5x week, weights, weighs 120lbs, non smoker/drinker, eats healthy foods, Professional Engineer, does everything by the book. Cancer is nasty disease. We just lost our sister in law (42) to Acute Luekemia 12 months ago. Saw how three chemo sessions takes toll on her body. Not sure what is in store for us, however don’t think wife wants to go through same process. She is angry with lord (lost sister in law, father, and uncle now her Cancer last 24 months). I will keep updates on her condition. God Bless my wife. PB43
