Blessing or Lesson ?

“We meet for a reason.  Either you are a blessing or a lesson.”  - Frank Ocean

Many times when we meet someone, they have a lesson for us. Sometimes we are too busy, or we are inattentive and we miss a great opportunity to learn and grow.  Often we don't learn that lesson because our ego enjoys being the "teacher" and our ego will not let us humble ourselves to be the "student". How much better humans we could we become if we only applied this wisdom in the proper way?

Does anyone have any experiences, insight or comments about this?  - Ekim

Thanks for sharing this message, eKIM!

I think we are all student and teacher depending upon the siituation at any given moment. Sometimes we are both at the same time.

Thanks for your comment, Cath1.  Sometimes , when posting it seems that no one reads them.  It does not encourage one to post more.

Hi eKIM:

You're welcome! I think many more people read the posts than is always apparent. it's always nice to receive feedback, but you can trust that your reflectiions and inspirations touch hearts even when they choose to stay  silent.

Please keep sharing your insights and I hope those who appreciate them as I and others do will feel inspired to join the conversation.
