A smoker for many years, Lynda was diagnosed with lung cancer 20 months to the day before the illness overtook her. She fought hard and prayed daily that God would heal her. She was happy to hold her new grandchildren before her passing.

Lynda passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 5th, 2009 at the age of 61 years.

Predeceased by husband, Bruce (Trapper). Mother to Elona, Sherry, Elizabeth, Evelyn & Bruce Jr., Grandmother to Elisha, Kyle, Abigail, Noah, Zachariah & Tyler.

Lynda's family welcomed friends and family to the funeral service – held in Cambridge, Ontario on Tuesday February 10th, at 1 p.m. – with interment at New Hope Cemetery.

In Lynda's memory, many expressions of sympathy were made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Lynda put her trust in God and is now in heaven with her beloved husband, Bruce, who passed away 3 years ago.
