Heart House Hospice - H.U.U.G. Program

Heart House Hospice offers a H.U.U.G. (help us understand grief) program where a coach is available to visit children, youth and families in their homes to help them understand grief. The Coach also works with them; to develop coping mechanisms to deal with grief, help them find ways to communicate and support one another in their grief and find ways to maintain connections with loved ones who have died. The HUUG program is available in the Peel and Halton region. Support is provided to children, families and community organizations. Hospice services are available to families at no cost.
