I relate to your fear. mostly, I'm content with my lot but every once in a while I'm stricken with a frightening flash of fear.
I mostly deal with it by taking some deep breaths and turning my thoughts elsewhere.
same thing for regret. we all make mistakes and have to learn how to forgive ourselves.
