Moms Ovarian Cancer diagnosed in June.Im taking time off work to care for my mom ( dad too with short term memory loss). Never thought at 55 I would be doing this!!

Welcome to the forum Fourmaggie. I am sure there is so much more that has happened between your first and second sentence. I imagine your mom's health could have an impact on your dad's memory loss as well.

Do you have others in your family circle who are able to share the care for your parents? I thought this might provide some helpful tips for you. Caring for yourself Programs and Services gives an overview of resources that are available across Canada. Are there services available to you that you know of?
